Last week, Earth Security CEO and founder Alejandro Litovsky joined the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in person in Singapore to speak at their high-level conference ‘Transition Finance towards Net-Zero: Scaling Blended Finance’.
He spoke about the importance of nature-based solutions to the resilience of Asian economies and companies. They need to think about the natural capital that is still abundant in Asia as a real and available option to support transitions to net-zero.
“Giving natural assets a place in the portfolios of Asia’s leading financial institutions will require building a supporting financial ecosystem - and this is something that Singapore is uniquely positioned to do”, Alejandro said.
