Louise Wilson has spent most of her career in finance, over a decade of it pioneering investment in sustainable infrastructure by retail investors. Prior to that she ran Equity Capital Markets at UBS Investment Bank for Europe, Middle East and Africa. With humanity’s impact on our environment becoming more evident, she wanted to deploy her knowledge and skills to help direct finance towards climate solutions and in 2010, she co-founded Abundance Investment, the first regulated crowdfunding platform which has raised £150m for companies and councils deploying sustainable infrastructure.

At Earth Security, she brings her experience of markets, from emerging to mature in the geography and in business, finance and industry, to driving more global capital to nature and nature-based solutions.

She is an advisor to Imperial College’s Centre for Climate Finance and Investment and to Stratiphy, a retail investing app that uses AI to give retail investors professional-level insights at low cost.
