In her role as Programme Director, Emma manages key programmes at Earth Security. This includes leading the Cloud Forest programme which aims to develop an innovative, results-based investment model in Colombia to direct blended finance towards the payment of ecosystem services from cloud forests.

Emma brings to Earth Security her experience of low-carbon innovation from both public and private sectors in the UK and across Europe. She has led teams and managed a range of innovation programmes to help accelerate the decarbonisation of global energy companies and their value chains.

She also worked as Head of strategy and business planning at the UK’s Energy Systems Catapult, which helps design and deliver the UK’s energy system to Net Zero and supports innovators to commercialise. She also set up and managed low-carbon innovation programmes at the UK’s Department for Energy and Climate Change, including the Energy Entrepreneur’s Fund.
