Heru is Senior Partnership Manager for Earth Security based in Indonesia. He is responsible for building an investment pipeline and a coalition for mangrove positive businesses in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

He joins Earth Security from the World Bank where he supports low carbon and climate resilient agriculture, value chain improvements, and a sustainable landscape management program. He brings more than ten years of project management experience, along with networks in development, sustainability, and public policy.  Heru is also a coffee expert where he has supported Sumatra coffee farmers and producer organisations in becoming more sustainable.

Heru has an MA in international Affairs from Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) Johns Hopkins University, Washington, DC and a BA in International Relations from Universitas Gadjah Mada.
